3 Ways To Manage Your Time When You ‘ Don’t Have Time’



In today’s age, everything seems to be happening so fast             (except traffic) that at the end of the day it could leave you feeling like you just don’t have enough hours in the day to  get things done.

When you start viewing your time in terms of a priority, not as an excuse, your mind will begin to shift and see things differently.

1. Complete The Most Important Tasks First

Sometimes we have so much to do the next day that, it can become frustrating to figure out where to start first. In order to manage your time efficiently, prioritize 2-3 tasks that are high priorities, and is ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL to complete. This will be different for everyone. In the beginning of your day, write down on your-to-do-list what is most important to you that needs to get done before you begin your day.



2. Sleep At Least 7 Hours

When there’s so much to do in ‘ so little time’, it is easy to neglect the importance of getting a full night’s rest.

Sacrificing your sleep in the name of productivity doesn’t necessarily maximize efficiency. In order to function properly, our bodies need sleep. Try to make it a goal to get 7-8 hours each night. This is important because when you are sleep deprived not only will it effect how you function the next day, it will effect your ability to concentrate and be productive.


3. Be Aware Of How Your Downtime Is Spent

Time spent mindlessly browsing your favorite social media websites, playing games, or watching your favorite shows for hours has a serious impact on productivity. Entertainment is great and a lot of fun, however if it is consuming a majority of your time it could be time to make a change.

Instead, try balancing out how much time you speed on non-productive activities so you will be aware of where your time is going. Fortunately, we all get 24 hours in a day. With practice, managing your time will almost become effortless to do!
